RIVER GRAVEL
We wash and grade our river gravel into several different sizes. Many use this for driveways, landscape gravel, filter material, ready-mix concrete, and many other specialized uses.
1/2" PEA GRAVEL (currently not for sale)
Our half-inch pea gravel is not always in stock. We use it for ready-mix concrete, so we often must fill that need first. Please call for more information.
CLEAN #57 (currently not for sale)
This is our most readily available river gravel and can be used for ready-mix concrete, fill lines, drainage, and landscaping. The average size is about 3/4" but ranges from 1.5" to 1/4".
DIRTY #57 (currently not for sale)
This is the same as the clean #57 but hasn't been washed twice, so it has more dirt in it. It's better suited for driveways and roads because of that.
1/4" PEA GRAVEL
Our quarter-inch pea gravel is great for thin road-topping applications, small patio areas, aesthetics, or areas that need additional drainage added to the soil. In many instances, it can be used to replace the 1/2" pea gravel.
GRADE 1 OVERSIZE
This product has been washed once but has a bunch of clay in it. The gravel is mostly over 1" and as large as 6" or more. It places well in large areas, where grading is greater than 6 inches. Many use this on roads, foundations, or muddy areas, where smaller gravel doesn't hold up.
CLEAN (GRADE 3) OVERSIZE (currently out of stock)
This has been washed three times and is mostly used as landscape gravel. Some refer to it as #4 Brown. You might also use this in large foundations or heavy clay areas to cap the surface.
